3. Tara has 29 rupees she bought for colouring books that cost 3 rupees each, 4 boxes of crayons that cost to rupees 2 each. She spent the rest of her money on markers. How much money did she spend on markers?


4. 8 years ago Bill was 8 times the age of his son Bill junior today. If you add their ages together they add up to 52. How old are Bill and his son?


5. The number added to its square and the digit of that summation added together bring it back to itself what is it?


6. A 300 feet train is travelling at 300 feet per minute, must travel through a 300 feet long tunnel how long will it take to cross the tunnel?


Answer

1. 48 feet

3. Bill 40 and Bill Junior 12 

4. 3 square is 9, 3+ 9 =12, 1+2=3, therefore the answer is 3. This also works with 6 and 9.

5. Two minutes, It takes the front of the train one minute and the rest of the train will take two minutes to clear the tunnel.
