·       GET ENOUGH OF SLEEP: According to a study, when people don’t sleep properly they end up eating more and usually its junk which is not healthy. Also, lack of sleep causes premature aging, stress, anxiety, restlessness. So for a healthy lifestyle it is recommended to have sufficient sleep in accordance with one’s body requirement.

·       EAT A VARIETY OF FOODS: One should take a diet which comprises of all the essential nutrients. For a good health, we need 40 different types of nutrients which could not be provided by a single meal.

·       ENRICH YOUR MEAL WITH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES: Fruits and vegetables are an important source of vitamins, minerals and fibres. Diet full of fruits and vegetables is required to lead a healthy lifestyle.

·       REDUCE SUGAR AND SALT INTAKE: Excess intake of salt leads to High Blood Pressure, Cardiovascular diseases, etc. Sugar is unhealthy and causes weight gain. Moreover, sugar is highly prohibited for consumption by persons suffering from diabetes.

·       STAY AWAY FROM NEGATIVITY: Positive mental health is a part of healthy lifestyle. One should try to stay away from negative people. Also, we don’t need negativity within ourselves and so we should get rid of all negative thoughts within us.

·       MAINTAIN HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS: Social relationships are crucial not only for mental well-being but also for physical health. It is seen that people who have close friends and family are healthier and live much longer.

·       DRINK PLENTY OF WATER: Sufficient intake of water is required to keep the body hydrated. Water is essential for our body to function. Generally, we need about 2-3 litres of water to keep ourselves hydrated.

·       LOWER INTAKE OF PROCESSED FOOD: Processed food is not good for health as most of the nutritional value is lost while preparing that food. Many processed food contain a high amount of salt which is not healthy.
